Farewell

I have been thinking about leaving a good bye post and decided it was a better idea than to just stop posting without a word. Todd and I are beginning school in about 5 weeks and I have found that posting is low on my to-do list. Maybe I will resume posting when I feel like I will be really dedicated, but for now- I am going to take a break from trying!

Getting colder

This has been a typical Idaho weather week for us- We have had snow, sun, wind, and slush. The girls were very excited to wear their winter boots on Wednesday- but have had little use for them since. Dallis's dance class had their Halloween party this week. All the little girls were allowed to wear their costumes to class. Hadley comes along, so I put her into her costume as well. Of course I didn't get any pictures, but I plan to next week on the actual holiday. Todd has begun to take his lunches at 9:30 on Wednesdays to help me with the kids for dance. We won't be able to keep it up forever- but it will be nice while it lasts. Brynn is working on sitting- she can last about 3 seconds before finding her way to the floor. She is rolling over more and of course constantly happy! Dallis and Hadley are enjoying the holiday catalogs that have started to come. Dallis had the Toys'R'Us catalog and was saying "Oh! This my Christmas, Mom? My Santa Christmas, my stars Christmas, my trees Christmas?" It was so cute! Hadley took an interest in the American Girls Doll catalog- saying "Oh cute, aww babies" Lately I have been having some problems uploading any picture- but hopefully we will get it sorted out! Well- until next week!

A little late

I have this plan. I want to blog every Wednesday- so, since today is Monday, I am about 4 days late on my planned schedule. Anyway- I will start my update with Todd. Todd is looking into getting the rest of his degree at the ISU satellite here in Idaho Falls- that would save some major travel time and travel expenses for the rest of his school experience. The other major bonus is that he could attend year-round, thus cutting out about half a year of school time. Dallis has learned her entire routine for her performance- first one is on November 15 at the Festival of Trees- it is pretty cute. She refers to it as 'Yummy yummy yummy'- probably because the first song in the routine is "Yummy yummy yummy, I've got love in my tummy." I am sur you can guess the actions! It is so fun to watch her in class. She is not the shyest- but not the most outgoing either. She loves it. Hadley has been so cuddly lately- just hugging and sitting on my or Todd's lap and saying "I yuh you"- it is fun to listen to her new words. She is saying water and juice and eat and a so cute night-night! Brynnie can roll over!! She rolls about one and a half times before giving up and then scooting around instead. She is still so calm and happy- what lies ahead in the toddler years, I wonder? I cut my hours back at work- I found that my break form my family was getting to be too much of a break, so now I am only working 3 days a week, and requesting about 1 off in those for the next month or so. It should be better that way. Until Wednesday!

My lack of love for Snapfish

I love Snapfish- I love ordering prints online and not having to take fil anywhere and feel like the whole photographing world is catering to me. I do not love my new 8x10s that I ordered of the girls- they really did not turn out the way I had hoped. Maybe it is because I took the pictures? I just couldn't get a good one of Hadley. The one of Dallis is really cute small, but not so great big size. Brynn's was okay. The only ones I was really happy with were the ones Elise took for us. Oh well,- we went to Penney's portrait studio for Hadley's 2nd birthday yesterday- they turned out so so cute! I have decided that I am just going to go ahead and order normal pictures from Snapfish- but use Penney's for all of our big ones. Unless, of course, Elise can help us out with her insane talent of good picture taking.
Yesterday my little baby turned 2. I was a little sad when Dallis became an official toddler- but now I have 2 two-year olds. I swear I was just barely pregnant with Hadley- maybe it is because I really was just barely pregnant, or maybe it is the sad truth that time speeds forward with no consideration for moms lamenting the loss of their sweet babies and the gain of really tough toddlers? Anyway- pictures this week are of my little Hadley Jane and how she has grown- you know, since we have had the digital camera!

Here are some fun pictures

I decided to add a few pictures on this blog. Dallis had her second dance class today- she just loves that BIG mirror! The class is going to start learning their routine next week and will perform for the first time in November. I believe that is the Festival of Trees performance. I have been looking for Halloween costumes and can't decide between the plush animal idea or fairy-princesses. I am thinking that this is my only year to really decide for them, so I think I may do the animal thing- Princesses will probably show up quite a bit in the future! It is amazing how much costumes cost anyway- Disney had a 'Belle' costume on sale for $50. I am not planning on spending that much! So, for a funny story- The other night Todd was working on the computer and Dallis walked in the office in only her underwear. "Where are your pants?" Todd asked. Dallis repiled that she had put them in the washer and stated that she was naked. Todd asked why she was naked and she replied "I naked, I'm a mermaid." We thought taht was really cute! Hadley's new phrase is "Oh, pretty"- she is generally referring to anything sparkly or flowered. She likes to try to mimic Dallis. It is pretty sweet. Well- enjoy! Until next week!

New Goal!

Well- Elise's blog is so fun that I have decided to copy. Todd and I had an MSNSpaces blog, but, I think I will try this site now. Maybe a new site will inspre me to keep up on the blog? We are getting into the fall season here in IF. The wind is active and the rain showed up out of nowhere. Todd had been riding his bike to work, but drove today because the weather was less than desireable this morning. I still walk with Mom around the river- we have 3 more weeks before we take our morning work-outs indoors. Dallis began dance classes this week and is loving them. She is so outgoing- it is so fun to watch her interact with other little girls and see that yes, she is my daughter! Hadley is copying words really well- it is fun to watch her 'talk' to Dallis- the conversation is usally Dallis saying something and Hadley trying to copy it. Brynn is trying to hold her bottle and can oush herr head up really well in the superman position on her tummy. I am going to aim at posting at least once a week. Hopefully I can stay on top of it- I think I can do it!
